Sure you can bullseye womp rats in your T-16 back home. Heck, they're not much bigger than two meters or so. And yeah, you can pilot a T-65 X-wing starfighter through a trench on the surface of the Death Star and fire two proton torpedoes into a reactor core, blowing up that same Death Star.
