Full Description

This full body skeleton bodysuit is the perfect accessory for beating up Jersey transplants who are trying to steal your girl and your All Valley Karate championship. We've used the same construction techniques used to make the costumes seen in the popular 80s Karate movie. Please note, some reviews indicate that the bones are not on the back. The bones are on the back and the front. Instead of painting the bone structure onto a black body suit we have sewed the "bones" onto a black spandex suit. The bones and body suit are made of the same material. What does that mean to you? First off it means that we can put the bones in the right place because we aren't being limited by a printing pallet. Secondly it means that the bones won't crack when you stretch the suit out. You may ask, why is the price so high? Quite simply because it takes a very long time to sew the bones onto the suit. If you want a cheap version that does not look good there are plenty of those available on the internet. If you want a suit that is comparable in quality to the ones worn by the Cobra Kai then this is what you need. Quite simply, you will not find a higher quality skeleton bodysuit available commercially. The white gloves are NOT included.

  1. Great Costume

    5.0 out of 5 stars

This was a great costume. I wore it on Halloween with a blond wig and make up and it was a real hit. It fit really well and looked awesome. Mine had bones on the front and back (other reviews said they only had them on the front). I would highly recommend this costume.

  2. Great Costume

    5.0 out of 5 stars

Loved this costume, it looked great. I am 6’2” and about 210 lbs, originally I ordered the XL size, but when I tried it on, it was just too small to zip up as my chest and back were just a little too big. I contacted 80’s tees and swapped the XL for the 2 XL and that one fit great. Like others have said, it is a little bit of a pain to get on and zip up. Also, when you need to use the bathroom, it is also a chore to get it off. A zipper in the front would be great. The other thing to be careful of is the stitching on some of the bones. Be careful when putting it on or taking it off, as a few stiches can bust. You will just need to fix them later. Also, the costume has footies, it may be better to just have it end at the ankle. My hood when it was up was a little bit of a cone head, too, which was most likely do to me needing the 2XL size. Other than that, it was a great costume and in my opinion, worth the money. Having the bones stitched on and on both sides is a huge plus. Tim

  3. Pretty bitchen

    5.0 out of 5 stars

These rule. Way better than the others I've seen. I'm in an 80s band and we did these for a Halloween show. Great on stage. 2 of us are like 5'7-5'8ish, about a buck fifty in weight, and we wore L size. The 3 other dudes are like 6' ish and range between 180 to 210. They wore the 2XL. Everybody's fit snugly in a good way. We used them for 2 shows. They're pretty durable.

  4. Cobra Kai Costume

    5.0 out of 5 stars

Look no further for the most authentic , identical Skeleton cobra kai costume. The cobra kai skeleton is one of the most iconic and recognize able costumes you can buy. This suit is pretty much 99.9% identical to what Johnny and the clan wore when they beat up Daniel. If your going out , make sure you have your friend or girlfriend hold your keys , phone etc as there is no pockets. Also your going to need the buddy system to help you unzip the back part as its pretty hard to do yourself. No pockets is probably the only downfall. Besides that , along with a pair of white costume gloves and black converse kicks , this spandex suit will take you back to the valley and into the high school costume party where the rest of the cobra kai are planning their attack. In terms of quality , its surperior. Make sure you pee before you go out as its a pain when you have to go. Besides that A++++++

  5. Fits well

    4.0 out of 5 stars

I'm 6'1 185 and it fits pretty snug but in a good way. Shows everything so you may consider some black shorts if you are in work/family settings.

  6. Totally worth it!!

    5.0 out of 5 stars

I used the costume 3 times already and will probably use it more in the future. I'm 5'7" (170 lbs) and needed the XL. It fit like a glove and after awhile you forget its on. You get what you pay for and I couldn't find anything else close to this.

  7. best on the market

    5.0 out of 5 stars

I am 6'1 and very thin, about 160 pounds and it fits perfectly, like a hand sewn suit! Worth ever penny.

  8. skeleton costume

    5.0 out of 5 stars

Hi quality. Looks great. I am 5'10" w/ slightly above average muscle build and 10% body fat. I tried the L and XL, preferred the XL. This thing is skin tight so if you have broad sholders or big stomach it'll barely fit you. It has got to be the best replica of the outfits from the movie that exist. Oct 2013.

  9. Excellent Quality

    4.0 out of 5 stars

This is a well made, fun costume! I have had it for three years, and it continues a be a head turner! I add the black and white make up and my middle school students are always amazed. I also wear a black tutu, to cover those more personal bones :-)

  10. Great suit..compromise a little

    5.0 out of 5 stars

Great suit, the comments about the zipper are accurate. But, with a little innovation/patience, no worries. Couple options regarding zipper/bathroom issue: 1. Attach a small string/shoelace (black works great) to zipper around 14-18" in length for a lanyard. This may require pressing both sides of suit together while pulling upward on lanyard (using one hand on lanyard, the other on suit). 2: Leave zipper down, wear a black shirt or tank top underneath. No problems whatsoever, with the exception of a small portion of back not showing ribcage stitching. Is is perfect? No, but there is always a compromise. Love the suit, always get compliments!!

  11. very nice

    4.0 out of 5 stars

Overall, the quality is pretty terrific. Of course, I would expect that at this price point. There was some missing stitching along the right hand seam when I got it (about 2 inches long). My wife had to sew it up. So be sure to check as soon as you get it out of the bag. I'm about 5'10" and 170 and this thing fit really well. It's not easy to get in and out of, but if you're a guy and you have to hit the head, just have a buddy unzip you down the back, go do your business (you can just pull it down about halfway), then put it back on without zipping it up and just have someone zip it up when you get back. But don't even think about taking it on and off with face paint - it won't happen. oh yeah, it looks cray-tastic in black lights. but it would be so simple to build in a crotch zipper, no? i'd be willing to pay extra for that.

  12. Cobra Kai

    5.0 out of 5 stars

The costume is great, looks like the real one from movie. I feel like going out to kick young Larusso but!!!!!!!I have been wanting to dress like this for 20 halloweens!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No cons, this is true fit, I am 6ft, 230lbs and the XXL is perfect, if you are my size I recommend this size...Don't forget guys or girls to wear your chucks with this or else it will not look like the real thing?????? Real fitting around your privates so guys be careful

  13. Awesome!!!

    5.0 out of 5 stars

High quality. Looks just like you want it to. Adding a long shoe string to the zipper made self zipping easy-peezy lemon squeezy. Just like a wet suit dudes. Also you're going to spend $140 on the costume and then get cheap greease paint from the halloween store and you're going to smear it all over the ladies you're kissing and the costume when you take it off to... Go to the bathroom...ahem....at the party?? Bad plan bro. Go get some alcohol based body paint online and it will be set seconds after you apply it

  14. Good replica outfit

    4.0 out of 5 stars

ok, this is definitely the best karate kid cobra kai outfit ive seen on the net, but it is very expensive. It is a close match but not exactly the same, therfore I would say it is not worth the price they are asking. However, if you really want the best option out there then this is the skeleton suit for you...

  15. Cobra Kai!

    4.0 out of 5 stars

Great for a Halloween or a movie themed fancy dress night. The only 2 things that I'd recommend to make this outfit perfect are: 1) Some kind of zip access for #1 toilet activity. 2) A Pouch or pocket inside one of the sleeves to hold a key/coins/phone etc.

  16. Great costume!

    4.0 out of 5 stars

This costume is awesome, and although a little bit excpensive, heaps of fun to wear, and good quality. It really needas a zip to make going to the toilet easier though, as it's not easy to get in and out of by yourself for this. Only negative.

  17. kind of over priced

    3.0 out of 5 stars

the product is exactly as described. just be aware that the stitching is loose as it needs to be for give on the spandex suit. so when your putting it on and taking it off, the stitching can rip if you're not careful. the first night I wore it out some of the stitching on the bones started to tear when I was taking it off. and trying to take it off carefully is not easy when you've been avoiding going to the bathroom at a party cause its too difficult to take off. it looks and feels great, just not practical when needing to go to the bathroom. i'm 5'9" and the large fits as described. wore it this halloween and will probably be able to wear it one/two more times before it'll be too torn to wear again. got a ton of compliments, just difficult to hold a smile on a full bladder =)

  18. Superbe!

    5.0 out of 5 stars

Caution: Peeing can be tricky, wear among friends or trusted hands only

  19. superb

    4.0 out of 5 stars

I had a really good time and the suit felt great and looked great.

  20. great costume..very authentic

    5.0 out of 5 stars

an exact replica of the costume on the "karate" movie from the 1980's

  21. great costume

    5.0 out of 5 stars

Perfect. You cannot get a better costume than this.

  22. Brilliant Costume I Highly Rcommend it

    5.0 out of 5 stars

I'm 5'7" and 161Lbs and the large fit me perfect really comfortable to wear. Brilliant look to costume wore it to a halloween party and everyone loved it. I didn't find it problem at all going to the bathroom I thought it was very easy to get on and of.

  23. Problem Solved

    5.0 out of 5 stars

Great costume. I agree with all the other comments on it's fit and quality. Problem is, I like to party... hard. Now, I knew this costume wasn't going to work out if I need help to get out of it after every couple of beers, so I would just like to let everyone know that I managed to solve the urination issue. [...]

  24. Awesome

    4.0 out of 5 stars

This costume is awesome! Pretty pricey, but well worth it for the quality and craftsmanship. Several people complemented me and knew it was the Cobra Kai Skeleton. The placement of the bones is perfect. The only issue I had with the costume was that the hood did not really fit right. Other than the hood issue, the costume could not be any better. I would highly recommend the costume.

  25. very cool

    5.0 out of 5 stars

The XL fit perfectly per 5'10" and 150lbs. Many thanks.

  26. Awesome costume!

    4.0 out of 5 stars

This costume is great! Exactly like the ones from the movie. The only problem I foresee; using the bathroom. (I am still trying to figure out how I will get the hood over my head without smearing the face make up. Thinking of trying some no rub off face paint.) If there was some way to fix this, I would definitely rate this costume a 5! This costume has me super excited for halloween and hopefully i will run into daniel sun so this cobra kai can kick some butt!

  27. Sweep the Leg!

    4.0 out of 5 stars

Last Halloween I searched high and low for different variations of this costume. There were alot of loose cheapo versions, and even some spandex ones with the bones on one side. This one is by far the most authentic and best looking one with bones on both sides, and form fitting. I will admit the $140 is a little pricey, but it was worth it. Now if only someone last year had their suit on e-bay like I do right now at almost half the price.

  28. A must have !

    4.0 out of 5 stars

I'm 5'8 160-170 lbs,,, the large very fitting and will expose any embarassing area on your body. But i think the XL would have been to long in the legs. It looks great, no problem with the stiching and the color of the bones are bright white. and both front and back bones fit in all the right places. If your a women and have a large top (!!!) a large for this height might cause some problems, If your a man with a large muscular chest, the same. Its tight, but its right !!!! Going to be super cool for Halloween, Just hope its not too cold outside

  29. Bring it on, Miyagi!

    5.0 out of 5 stars

I am a true child of the 80's and a HUGE movie buff. The Karate Kid (original) is one of my all time favorites! I have wanted to dress up like the Cobra Kais for YEARS, but have never done it because I could never find a costume to do it justice without looking cheap. I think this costume is studio quality, and that you'll never find anything closer to the movie without tracking down one of the actual suits used in the movie! I could not be happier! I am exactly 72" (6ft) tall, and 195 lbs with an atheletic build. The Size XL fits me like it was tailor made for me.

  30. Great product

    5.0 out of 5 stars

I'm 5'11 tall and a shredded 74kgs and the XL fit me perfect and its flattering at the front.

  31. Mi Wife Is Johnny?

    5.0 out of 5 stars

Mi wife wore the skeleton costume with the Johnny wig. Her friends didn't know who she was and some asked her if she actually got her hair cut and dyed? The costume is perfect.

  32. Great, but needs improvement

    4.0 out of 5 stars

Great suit. I"m 5 feet 7, weight 172 and ordered a large. The fit was perfect... not too tight... a bit too long in length, nothing noticable... i'd rather have it a bit long then it being too tight. The stitching is VERY poor. Very easy for the bones to unstitch. When I received mine in the mail, I noticed a few spots that were unraveling. (Not cool to see the bones on a skeleton suit that cost this much coming apart) I had to get it restitched in a few areas. For a suit that cost this much, you would expect it being better stitched (double stitched)... BEWARE OF THIS FACT. I ran a 10k in it... and the suit held up great! PROS: Sexy outfit Original... no other suit compares Very comfortable Can wear more than once Durable. CONS: Not stitched very well... had to restitch some areas. White bones are grayish color. not true white Very difficult to take off if you have to pee

  33. great costume

    5.0 out of 5 stars

great costume, but if you're short with a muscular build, just be careful getting in and out of it or you might rip it. also, you'll need a friend to unzip you whenever you want to hit the bathroom. there is no opening in the front!

  34. Put him in a body bag!!

    5.0 out of 5 stars

All in all, the suit went over like 'Balls Marie.' Walking through the parking lot I heard "put him in a body bag Johnny!" and "he's had enough Johnny!" to which I replied, "I'll decide when he's had enough!" I'm glad that people caught the reference, and I even got my pic with a Mr. Miyagi (no, I didn't know him either) at a house party.

  35. Quality. Worth the cost. Rockable!!!

    5.0 out of 5 stars

I play in a rock band, and need a quality costume that won't rip or fall off mid-show. This one held up great and was super comfortable. (Just be sure to do plenty of sit ups before your Halloween party... there's nowhere to hide in this suit!) As the description states, there are many low quality, cheap versions of the skeleton suit available online. My friend ordered one and it looked embarrassingly bad compared to this. The cheap ones are loose fitting and just hang on the body, while this costume is skin tight and is truly form fitting. My band bought 3 of these and built the shower costume from Karate Kid, and it was the hit of the show. Definitely worth the cost, and something you can wear again.

  36. Sweet Costumes

    4.0 out of 5 stars

My Fiance and I wore the costume to a Halloween party and we talked her brother into wearing the Karate Kid outfit. The Costumes were an instant hit. You would not believe how many people recognized the outfits right-a-way, when we left the party and headed to a bar without the Katate Kid. Everyone was excited to yell out some sort of Karate Kid line from the movie. The only Con that we have with the costume is that you have to take it all the way off just to take a bathroom break. Some sort of hidden bottom zipper for the bathroom would be convenient.

  37. 3XL size good for tall guys

    4.0 out of 5 stars

They don't have size suggestions for the 3XL size. I'm 6' 7'' and 235 lbs and it fit me like a glove. It's expensive but very high quality, I don't regret the purchase at all.

  38. Looks AWESOME, but a little cumbersome

    4.0 out of 5 stars

I immediately had to have this spandex Skeleton suit as my Halloween costume. The product reviews were all awesome, although I was a little wary of the fact that previous models of this costume didn't have bones on the back. The new suit did, however. I'm 5'3, 110 lb woman and the X-Small fit me perfectly. The only issue I had was, well, say you're at a Halloween party and you have a few drinks and you need to use the restroom, you need to remove almost the entire suit to use the facilities. Not to mention it wrecks havoc on any skeleton make-up you might have on. I had to cut the hood to make it a little easier to pull off. The only suggestion I'd have for making this suit better is an appropriate zipper for restroom use. Other than that, no complaints! I got SO many compliments on it, it was worth the cash.

  39. Great costume But NEEDS IMPROVEMENT

    3.0 out of 5 stars

This was a great, my friends were astonished by it but it needs some improvements... The Bad -If you paint your face before putting on the costume goodluck trying to fit your head through the hood without getting makeup on it. -The zippers, why not a single zipper all the way up? The zipper started near the top of my back...making it almost impossible to take off and then another smaller zipper for the hood above the neck. -You need a buddy system with this costume, don't even think drinking while wearing it. You can't take it off yourself. -Some threads came loose. I am 6 ft, 154 lbs and I bought the Large. The fit was very good but almost too tight. Very curious to known how the XL would have fit. This costume has great potential to be something great.

  40. Exceeded my expectations

    5.0 out of 5 stars

This was better than expected. I'm 6'0 180 and it fit perfectly. It appears that it will be more durable than I expected as well and should hold up for a couple of years. Its a little hard to get in and out of as to be expected and when you have to go to the bathroom its time consuming. I received many compliments. I would recommend this to anyone.

  41. Amazing!!

    5.0 out of 5 stars

Worth every penny! Excellent quality and fit. I'm 5'7 150 lbs and the large is perfect.

  42. You've nailed it

    5.0 out of 5 stars

[...] Awesome costume. Tried it on last night and the XL fits like a glove. I haven't ticked figure flattering because I'm kind of scrawny but I'm still looking forward to donning the makeup and wig and going hunting for Daniel Larusso on Saturday night.

  43. Wouldn't buy it again....

    3.0 out of 5 stars

Don't get me wrong this is an amazing costume replica of the one worn in the movie, except for the black lines that are not on the white hood... The only issue I have with it is taking a leak...It was VERY difficult to get in and out of the suit WHILE having face paint on and NOT getting it all over the suit...The fact the the Hood is sewn into the costume makes it hard to get in and out of, you need a 2nd person to help zip it up in the back.... I'm 5'6" and 160 and bought a Small, I should have gotten a Medium, if your trying to gauge the sizing of it... As soon as I got the costume I noticed some of the stitching was already coming un-done...

  44. Awesome costume

    5.0 out of 5 stars

I called to inquire bout this costume and was told the new ones will have the skeleton on the back so I purchased one and added the "blonde surfer wig" to complete the costume and its awesome.

  45. The best Halloween ever!!!!

    4.0 out of 5 stars

Best quality out there. You get what you pay for and in this case its a lot!!!! Material is very flexible so you can get those high-kicks in all night. [...]

  46. unbelievable

    5.0 out of 5 stars

Anyone who gets this costume and complains is an absolute moron. I just got mine today, was SO ready to be disappointed, and i'm thrilled! I can't wait!!! You can justify the cost by wearing it multiple years in a row, which i plan on doing!

  47. Pricy But Worth It

    5.0 out of 5 stars

Great product. Big fan of the Karate Kid and have been looking for one of these that wasn't a cheap version for a long time. Yes it's pricy (even with my 20% off coupon code) but if you can afford it well worth it. I'm 5 foot 10 in and about 190 pounds and the XL fits perfectly.

  48. Help with sizing

    5.0 out of 5 stars

I'm a 5'10" bodybuilder weighing in around 180. I bought a size large, and the fit is extremely flattering....much as it is in the movies. While it does flatter musculature, and seems to cater to a large range of weight per size, a word of caution....if you're at the extreme end of the recommended height for a size (as I am,) it's likely that the hood will pull back and off your forehead a little more than desired. Doesn't matter for me, cause I'm rockin it Johnny style with a wig, but if you plan to wear it with the hood, and you're at the top of a particular size's height scale, you might want to order up a size. As far as quality, this thing is beautiful. The stitching appears to be double or even triple-stitched, so no worries on the bones tearing off. They stretch perfectly with the suit, and the placement is spot on; the hips are exactly where my hips are, and the ribs are right on as well. The suit is great. Don't hesitate.

  49. As good as bought...

    5.0 out of 5 stars

this is as good as bought when i get my email notification...been looking for this for years.

  50. Second place? Second place is no place!

    5.0 out of 5 stars

This is totally AWESOME. But you NEED to put the skeleton print on the back. Elizabeth Shue is not going to be impressed if the print isn't on the back.

  51. I want to kick Larusso's butt again...

    5.0 out of 5 stars

I wore this back in '84 and had to throw it away after it got all stained with blood. Granted I have gained some weight since then and am a little older but can't wait to suit up again this Halloween. -Johnny Lawrence

  52. Skeleton costume

    4.0 out of 5 stars

Can you get the bones on the backside as well? If you did that then this would be the raddest costume out there

  53. Show Stopper but...

    4.0 out of 5 stars

This is one of the most killer costumes of all time, however, if you were to have the skeleton image on the backside there would be no competition. Is there any way this can be considered or done???
