This shirt was so much fun to see on my boyfriend! He's a huge Lebowski fan and so are his friends! He wore this shirt to their Halloween party, everyone had something to say about how authentic and cool this shirt looked! Only thing is, like any other costume, it's synthetic fabric, so, it doesn't breathe very well. Good fix is to wear a cotton tee underneath, so if you get hot, you can take it off. It is what it is; a polyester bowling shirt. I think the sizing runs a bit big, but then again, if you look closely, the shirt is big on the Dude, too...Art must have been a big one. So for authenticity sake, go big.

I ordered it as a Halloween costume and paid more for it than I pay for casual shirts that I wear all the time. The shirt is much higher quality than I expected however there are no care instructions or info on what it is made of. The size chart was of great use. I measured one of my shirts that fits well (XL) and it matched the 2XL on the chart. If this had not been available I would have bought an XL and been very disappointed as the 2XL fit well.

I am a straight up 2X guy...so I got the 2X. It was way too tight in the shoulders and stomach. So then I ordered the 3X...Yikes! It's OK in the stomach, but it has ridiculously long sleeves and one of the biggest collars I have ever seen. It was made in China, and since I live here I can say that these are common mistakes made by tailors here if you do not provide a good design. I think this site needs to find a new manufacturer and give them very detailed USA measurements to use.

I have owned the previous version of this shirt. I generally wear an XL, but had to get a 2XL in order to have a style to fit me. The fabric was scratchy, but softened after a few washes. That was then, this is now. I knew we were getting an upgraded version of the Lebowski Bowling shirt, but didn't know how good it was going to be. The fabric is buttery soft, plus the colors are authentic to the movie. But the best improvement was with the sizing: I fit better into a Large than an XL. For reference, I am 6'1", 200 lb. The sleeves came to right above my elbow (how I like them), and the shirt fits me to my waist properly. I am VERY happy the shirt got overhauled. The Dude would abide by this.

The reviews I read made me think the sizing was off, so I was concerned about getting a Large. I'm 6'4", 205 lbs, with broad shoulders and athletic build. I usually wear XL stuff, but a L every once in a while if I want something to look slimmer. The shirt fit perfectly, somewhat slim, and I'm not planning on throwing it in the dryer after washing. I bet the sizing is only off for those with a beer gut that need XXL+. All of the comments regarding the sizing of this shirt almost made me pass, but I decided to pull the trigger anyways, and I couldn't be happier. This shirt just amazing. From the shoulder patch to the "Art" stitching on the chest this shirt is truly an "Authentic Replica" that any Big Lebowski fan would appreciate.

The material is somewhat delicate, definitely a lighter material- I would say almost like a linen shirt.

Being a rather thin guy I ordered size S and it fitted really well (I would not have wanted a larger one). Of course, I do like shirts that have a rather slim fit, but this could have been even more slim.
Over all a really nice shirt with the only con being the thin fabric.

Bought this shirt for my company's bowling event. I'm 5'2" and a size 6. Read to go 2 sizes larger so bought the large rather than the small. I SWIM in the shirt!! If you're petite and a female, choose a size you will get in your everyday wear. My co-worker is probably 5'8", male and average weight and bought a large as well. It fits him perfectly. I would say the sizing issue is more for the BIG/TALL guys.

I bought this product for a Halloween party and as something that I might ware occasionally. I'm considering returning it without doing either. For [$]I figured that I'd get something of good quality and that it may be a genuine polyester bowling shirt. Instead I got a very cheap, made in Pakistan, knock off. It's cotton with about a 100-150 thread count (you can see right through it). The stitching was done very poorly leaving extra thread everywhere. It is something that I'd expect to see for $15 at a costume store. Bottom line, do not buy this product.As a side note, if you are still considering purchasing; this shirt is "Dude Sized," so buy small.

I read a lot of the reviews on this site before placing my order. I wear a medium and bought the extra large and it was a really good idea. I think two-sizes up works better than trying to measure another shirt as recommended on the site. I tried that and it still had me as a medium.

As for the shirt itself I think it's a great shirt as a costume but I wouldn't wear it weekly. I bought it for a Halloween bowling party so it was perfect! It definitely isn't cheap and I think it's well worth the price for the attention to detail.

This shirt is very true to the one in the film. It is very lightweight (some people may vote it down for this, but I like it that way. It DOES run about 2 sizes small, but this fact is well advertised (follow their specific sizing instructions and you will be fine.) The price to me is what kept this from being a 5 star purchase (It should be around 10.00 less I think). However, it IS a specialty item AND it has real embroidery work on it as well as a patch.
