Costume itself is fine. Good price, too, [...]. But the description doesn't state that the microphone is excluded, so I was annoyed when it didn't come with it. It was a big part of why I chose this costume. The product description only says Ken and wig are excluded. Why Ken? Was this a typo? Ken wasn't even part of this costume. Also, a suggestion of where to buy the wig and microphone would be helpful.

I had a New Years Eve party to go to. People were dressing up, dressing down and wearing costumes. I just wanted to a nice gown to wear. Got this on sale and it was a hit.

Only thing is I'm short (5'2) so I cut the dress and re-attached the ruffles. Good material to work with.

This is a great Barbie costume, if you have Barbie's body, or can fake it. I only used the dress- but the dress was a good fit to the size, stretches well, is super sparkly, totally opaque, and looks great in pictures. I actually bought it on a whim for an 80's party and cut the skirt mini-short and added straps to make a Robert Palmer Girl costume, and it was a huge hit. So it cuts well, too! The only thing is that the glitter is itchy, gets everywhere- and sticks to your skin. So it's a trade- glittery, but messy. It looks really nice though, so I recommend it to anyone who wants to be Barbie. (Or a Robert Palmer Girl!)
