Awesome costume, looks great. You just have to add an M on the hat, which takes 3 minutes to make out of paper. Definitely gets toasty in, since its all polyester.

I'm 5'11'' with an average build, and the m/l fit me well. Only real complaint is the shirt is short sleeve when mario really wears a long sleeve, but no one really notices. Enjoy!!!

I went as Mario for Halloween last year, and this proved to be a great costume. I'm larger than average, and the XL fit me quite well, though I did have to use safety pins to make it fit better, as the straps were way too long.

I found a picture of Mario on the web and blew up the image to make my own "M" for the hat out of paper. I just taped that on and it worked fine.

The shirt that comes with this is short sleeved, even though Mario always wears long sleeve shirts in the games. So, I went to Goodwill and bought a long sleeve red shirt that worked well.

Add a fake moustache (or a real one if you got the time and energy), and you're ready to go. I also recommend some work boots to make it look really nice.

I bought this for a fancy dress party and it went down really well. I would say however that the hat doesn't have the 'M' on it and the red t-shirt is almost shiny. Also there is no tash but as a whole, it doesn't take much to spruce it up and the dungarees fit really well.
