Works great for old nintendo games. The only issue is that it is rather difficult to remove the games. A kid would not be able to do it.

I've always wanted a top loading NES console and when I saw that 80s tees carried it and I had a discount :) I had to buy it. Its great, its about the size of a game cart. and it comes with its own controls and gun. Its works with pretty much all my old games from The Adventures of Bayou Billy to Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.

i've read most of the comments before buying this product. its seems like its a gamble as far as if its going to work or crumble the first time you use it. its a decent product and all of the games worked, though the gun doesnt work id still recommend this to anyone.

This product was second to none to the original NES that I used to own. It plays all of my games perfectly and it really brought back a few memories and created new ones. I've played it ever since I received it. I could not have asked for a better clone.

The product directly reflects the price point. Be careful when inserting the cartridge. You don't have to shove it all the way into the receiver as you would think. You'll bend the pins when you try to remove it as we did. The console has dust guards on the cartridge opening that broke the second time we insterted the cartridge. Of the two controllers that were included, one does not work, and the other works, but malfunctions enough to cause problems while playing. Another quality product from the fine country of China.

I got this for xmas 08 from my brother. I then went on to purchase the greatest NES game ever made, Tecmo Super Bowl, f[...]. Got some good sessions in, but one of the controllers broke within the first week i had it and as of yesterday (1/28/09), the controller one port stopped working. I tried plugging in several different controllers into it and none of them worked. The strange thing is that it just plain stopped working...there was no sort of physical abuse done to it. The worst part was that i was in the AFC Championship when this happened. If i decide to relive the NES glory days again, I will probably buy a refurbished NES system off of ebay. That might last longer than a month.

We bought this system because our old NES stopped working and the wife and I wanted to re-play those classic games/rpg games. So far, all the games we have tried in it play, but with flaws (for example, mario has trouble ducking, like the down arrow on the DPad doesnt work, unless you turn on slo motion). The controller and light gun cords were WAY too short, 4.5 feet just doesn't cut the mustard at our house. Also, the materials this unit is made of would not withstand a young person, the unit and controllers are very very flimsy and will take decent care not to break them. Another thing that upset the wife, after buying this Yobo, we discovered there are better systems out there that play NES, SNES, and SEGA games all in 1 system, better built, for a few bucks more.

I was psyched to get this in mail. It waa a Christmas present for my boyfriend. Anyways, we played it for about 30 minutes and it was great. Then when we went to switch games, the game was stuck. It took excessive force to get the game out. Within one hour of using it, it was broken and so were a few games. I'm pretty disappointed. It's a good price, but not good enough to have to buy a new one for everytime I want to play. We have not been able to use it since the first time.

The product is very inexpensively built and kind of ugly color wise but it's small and for the great low price, it seems to do the job. My only concern is that one of the controllers was missing a screw and the light did not come on, however it still seems to work ok with the system and again, because of the low price, it's not really worth the hassle of returning.

This is a classic game, and perfect gift for my 20-something brother. It's a lot smaller than the original game console. The game we got to go with it was hard to put in at first, but seems to be working great.

Make sure that you push the game all the way down till it clicks. I had the old system and I couldn't play a 1/3rd of my games because it sucked. now all those games get a work out with this great system!

I Heard about this from a friend searched the internet. 80's tees were the only to have it in stock at the time. [...]The item itself is great every last one of my games started up with the exception of one but that was the game itself. I have enjoyed plying my Nes games that i have not played in over 15 years and I may look into the systems that Yobo has designed I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase and it is a great system to have for nes games.

You may want to invest in the original controllers. These aren't exactly the same and the buttons/arrows are a little sticky. Otherwise, the most fun I've had in 20 years.

Bought this as a gift, and I would buy it for myself. It plays all the games really well, even on new flat screen TVs. The Duck Hunt gun will not work with a new LCD screen, only an old TV. I really like that I am able to play all the old Nintendo games that used to keep me entertained for hours and the system seems flawless. The system turns on right away and is ready to go!
*The only part that I don't like is that it is very hard to get the game out of the system.

I bought this as a christmas gift and when I first tried it out, it didn'i do anything. it was completely hooked up and plugged in but there was nothing but big blocks of color on the screen.

My family and I spent a few hours on Christmas night playing the original Mario, Ice Hockey, and MTV's Remote Control cartidges we've had boxed up for years on this system, and it was awesome! Just like Christmas morning of 1987! I noted the only con was that the unit sometimes needs a good holding to get the game cartidges in and out, but that's the only negative. Also, a true old school player may feel more comfortable on the original control paddles, but those work on this unit with no problem! A+++ system!

I bought this game system for my Sister and her kids and they absolutely love it! I decided to go retro for christmas and it was a hit. My nieces and nephews are having a lot of fun with this game system. I'm glad I got it.

Gun used for Duck Hunt broke within 3 minutes. Very unhappy with this product. Still have to blow in games even though product advertisement says you don't have to do this with this "imposter".

I got it for my brother for Christmas, and when he opened it, he couldn't believe it. We played some games and it worked perfectly. Its so small that you can take it with you when you travel. and we really like that.

When I came across the YoboNES, I was psyched, because it was reasonable, and brought back great childhood memories, so I bought 5 of them for all my siblings! It works just fine, plays the games well, picture quality is good, sounds are good. I think the price is so great, that I can overlook the few bad qualities about the product. We've played it so much the buttons are starting to stick! But that's a good thing we're playing it so much, right!? Also, when you put a game in, it is almost impossible to pull it back out again, so once we put it in, we left it there! Overall, great fun, great price! We love it.

I bought a rare copy of Tengen Tetris a few years ago from an auction site and have not been able to play it - until now. The graphics are the same, and the system is EXTREMELY easy to use and lightweight. The original NES system had major flaws mostly being that the game would eventually not sit properly in the system, leading to having to 'wedge' it in and (as mentioned) blow on the cartridge to make it work. The Yobo system bypasses this problem by having the game top load, letting you enjoy the games you remember from your childhood easily. This was the best price for a NES clone system i could find, and i was also confident ordering from 80s Tees as i have purchased from this site for years and know i can trust that the quality and customer service are top notch. All in all, great price and great nostalgia item...top rating from me.

I've used this clone system a few times and found it to be a great replica of the original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Though the YOBO game console's exterior appearance (outward features) is not really appealing, the system is compact, very light weight and playing the NES games with the system is engaging! YOBO NES Clone System is reasonably priced!

it plays all old NES games and works great. Can use old Nes controllers and the zapper (Gun) on the system too. Not to mention the controllers that come with the system work well too.

The game clicks on the second you hit the button & works every single time. The majority of the time you don't even have to do that stupid blowing thing. & its roughly the size of an NES game, not like the clumsy original version. Its a must have for your NES games. Keep your old console cause they're just straight up cool, but you must must have this yobo console.

This thing is the best! I have all of my games as a kid, and I kind of assumed that I'd still have problems playing some of the older ones... I was wrong. It's small, convenient, and works like a charm! My only con is the feel of the controllers, but hey, give it a week of playing and they will begin to feel natural in your hand.
