Canadian Shipping Information
80sTees ships to Canada! There are two pieces of
information that will determine your actual cost to buy from
80sTees.com. If you need help you can always email us at
or call us at 1-724-696-5121 from 9 AM to 5 PM
Eastern Standard Time.
1) CURRENCY
CONVERSION (Get more for your money buying from the USA)
Our prices are shown in
US dollars. Your credit card issuing bank (Visa, MasterCard, Amex,
etc.) or PayPal will convert our charge in US dollars to Canadian
dollars. Your bank may also charge a currency conversion fee. This fee
is typically 1-5% of the total transaction cost. You can call the
number on the back of your card to get the exact rate.
This webpage will give you access to Visa's current exchange rates.
2) SHIPPING COST
and TAXES (We pay the brokerage, you pay provincial taxes)
We use UPS**
to ship to Canada. 80sTees.com is
registered in Canada as a non-resident importer. This means
that when we ship packages to Canada through UPS, we first ship them to
ourselves (but UPS acts as an agent for us because we do not actually
have a presence in Canada).
By shipping the package
to ourselves first we pay the brokerage fees and provincial taxes for you.
We do this by consolidating many shipments into one and only paying one
brokerage fee. We then charge you the provincial sales tax and pay it
using the money that we charge to you. This means that the money you pay to 80sTees.com is your
total cost. There will be no surprises when you receive your package.
The provincial tax rates are the following: 12% for British Columbia,
Ontario, Manitoba, Quebec, and Saskatchewan; 5% for Yukon
Territories, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia,
Alberta, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island.
Because we consolidate
packages to keep from charging our Canadian customers' brokerage fees we
typically ship our packages to Canada on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
You can use the map below to get a general idea of shipping times.

**There are some remote areas of Canada
where UPS does not offer service. We offer the following two services
for those customers. Please note that using the following shipping
methods may result in brokerage fees and you will have to pay your own
12% tax.

- Average transit time is 1-4 weeks (customs can cause
delays)
- Does not have tracking
- Insured against damage or loss with the requirement that we wait 45

Global Express Mail
- Most expensive option
- 5 business day transit time on average (customs can cause
delays)
- Tracking number will be emailed to you
- Insured up to $100 (we may buy extra insurance at our
