Unwashed, unworn, or defective merchandise may be exchanged for a different size / style / store credit within 60 days of the
shipment of the order.
Please keep your invoice if you would like to be able to exchange a shirt.
If you require a refund for any reason you must return the item within 60 days
of receiving it.
Shipping costs on any non-damaged or non-flawed
returns will be the responsibility of the customer. 80sTees will pay for shipping on defective merchandise provided that the damage was not caused by the
customer.
Important: 80sTees will not accept returns or exchanges for any item that has been washed in any way,
dried in a dryer, or damaged/ stained in any way. This includes items that are damaged, shrunk, etc. in a dryer.
**Customers who order two of the same item in consecutive sizes and then send
one back for a refund may be charged a restocking fee of $5.00. Many
customers do this because they are not quite sure what size to order. We
list the exact measurements of each shirt on the product page. See here. Please use
these measurements to compare them to an existing shirt you own. Please
do not order 2 of the same item in different sizes with the intention of
returning one of those items. This practice costs us extra money in the
form of labor, payment processing fees, and also in the fact that the item that
gets returned was not in our stock for the period of time which it was in
transit to and from the customer.

Personal check and money orders are not eligible for
refunds. These orders can still exchange shirts for different sizes or styles,
but 80sTees will not issue refunds on any personal check or money order.
Important: 80sTees.com recommends hang drying for all merchandise.

Important: 80sTees.com is not responsible for bleeding or fading of
colors due to washing of the shirts. We recommend soaking all t-shirts
(including those bought anywhere, not just ours) in a salt water solution of 2
quarts water and 1/2 cup of salt. Any bleeding of colors in the wash is
not the responsibility of 80sTees.com. It is also best to remove shirts
immediately from the washer in order to prevent bleeding of colors.
How do I return a shirt for a refund or exchange?
There are instructions on the back of your invoice! It's really, really
easy! If you lost your invoice you can
download the invoice back.
Policy for Returns, Refunds and Exchanges on Costumes
All returns of costumes must be postmarked within 3 days of receipt of the order.* If the postmark date is after 3 days from receipt of the order, costumes may only be exchanged for a different size of the same costume or store credit for the amount of the costume.
*All costume orders placed between October 16th and October 31st at Midnight EST may only be returned for an exchange of a different size of the same costume.
The following items are non-returnable under any circumstances: Latex masks, Wigs (if the packaging has been opened), Hats and Costume Props (if disassembled from packaging).
If you need to return an item, you will find the return/exchange form on the back of the invoice which will be enclosed in the package with your costume. You will be required to pay the cost of return shipping. If you are exchanging an item, please see the chart on the bottom of the return/exchange form which will tell you the cost for shipping back to you. Returns will not be accepted for merchandise that has been worn (other than trying it on) and/or is not in its original packaging. If we feel that the costumes have been worn or if the packing has been torn, we will send the item back to you and you will not be issued a refund. There are no exceptions to this policy.
