I launched 80sTees.com in 1999 because I would wear my favorite 80s cartoons on tees and people would ask me where I got them. Concerned friends and family used to ask me how long I thought I could make a living selling 80s themed t-shirts, but it appears that the decade I grew up in will be relevant for the foreseeable future. Whether it’s Star Wars, Transformers, Top Gun or one of the many other 80s properties that have released sequels and remakes, it’s clear that 80s pop culture will continue to be relevant for decades to come!
