The Isle of Wight Festival 1970 was widely acknowledged as the largest musical event of its time, greater than the attendance of Woodstock. The festival was headlined by Jimi Hendrix, and with Hendrix confirmed, artists such as Cactus, Chicago, The Doors, Lighthouse, The Moody Blues, The Who, Miles Davis, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, Jethro Tull, Sly and the Family Stone also took part. The festival marked one of Jimi Hendrix's final live performances before his death in 1970.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame described Jimi Hendrix as "the greatest instrumentalist in the history of rock music". Everyone will know you are a fan of the rock icon when you wear this 1970 Jimi Hendrix T-Shirt!
