There really is no better time to watch a scary movie than October. The crunch of leaves underfoot and the sound of them rustling in the wind combined with the sun being lower in the sky makes for the perfect mood to watch some of my old favorites. The Monster Squad was awesome because it wasn't super frightening but it fit the definition of a scary movie. So I got my fix of scary monster movies without the sleepless nights.
This shirt concept is something our designer Gary G came up with. He really liked this scene and decided to make it look like an old school album cover, complete with wear marks in place where the record edges would have pushed out against the cover.
Here you can see me sporting the tee on a hike in the woods to appreciate the fall foliage. Fall is a great time to wear a black t-shirt because it can soak up the less intense rays of sun and it doesn't make you feel too hot. This particular shirt is an XL tall. It's a little big on me and I'd probably grab a large-tall if I were to have a do-over. The print quality is great and hasn't faded even though I've owned this for a year and it's gone through multiple wash/dry cycles.
I think any fan of The Monster Squad would find this to be a great tee too!
